Section 5
Functions, duties and rights of the establishment
The functions, duties and rights of the establishment shall be as follows:-
(a) conducting training, training, conferences, workshops, symposiums, seminars, interactions and other such programs as needed to enhance the work capacity and professional efficiency of judges, employees and legal professionals working in judicial bodies,
(B) Researching matters related to the field of law and justice and publishing research materials,
(c) Providing consultation and information services on matters related to law and justice (d) to coordinate with the Supreme Court, the Attorney General's Office, the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, the Judicial Council, the Judicial Service Commission and the Nepal Legal Practitioners Council to enhance the work capacity and efficiency of the judges, employees and legal practitioners working in the judicial body,
(e) Conducting training, seminars, conferences as required to enhance the work capacity and work efficiency of judicial employees working in quasi-judicial bodies,
(f) Assisting the relevant agencies to correct the shortcomings, weaknesses and errors seen in the field of law and justice,
(g) To train the human resources working in the judicial body in relation to the new technologies and applications developed in the field of law and justice,
(h) Incorporating judicial training programs as an integral part of the administration of justice,
(i) Linking the judicial training program with the objective of making justice speedy, simple and accessible,
(j) To enhance knowledge and skills in justice administration, law enforcement, law making and justice administration procedures and link training with professional development,
(k) Conducting programs related to developing the law business as a competitive, competent, service-oriented and effective business,
(l) Conducting seminars, symposiums, conferences, workshops as required by involving experts in related subjects to solve problems in the field of law and justice.,
(d) To cooperate with the judicial training institutions of other countries to make the training program efficient and effective,
(d) Acting as a liaison body between the Government of Nepal and international organizations regarding capacity development programs to be conducted in the field of law and justice,
(n) To enhance the work capacity and professional efficiency of judges, employees and legal professionals working in the judicial body and to conduct studies and research in the field of law and justice as necessary, to jointly conduct and conduct programs with the Government of Nepal, national or international organizations,
(p) Collecting necessary resources from Nepal government, foreign government, international organizations or individuals for the operation and development of the program of the foundation,
(th) To arrange the necessary various programs for foreign judicial institutions and training institutions and foreign training, seminars, workshops, etc. for capacity development of judicial manpower. (D) To perform other tasks as specified.
